Kameron is an experienced business law and intellectual property attorney. With a technical background gained as a chemical engineer, Kameron uses his varied skills to provide general counsel and start-up services to many local and regional companies, ranging from contracts to licensing to obtaining/implementing intellectual property. He is also an experienced litigator, having litigated many cases on behalf of businesses and business owners in various disputes. Having seen many of the pitfalls that businesses and business owners fall into in the litigation process, he has tailored his services in his general counsel and start-up services to best meet his clients’ needs and avoid many of the problems facing small businesses.
Kameron has been a past recipient of the NM Super Lawyer designation in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. Kameron feels like the Super Lawyer designation is proud of his Super Lawyers status since his peers nominated him for the award. He explained that he doesn’t necessarily get a lot of recognition day-to-day as an attorney, especially from other attorneys, so it’s a nice change. Kameron start out in college wanting to get an engineering degree, because he loves science and math, but the work of an engineer didn’t really fit his personality. Going to law school complimented his engineering interests nicely, especially as a patent attorney, as it allows him to use his skills as an engineer and a lawyer. The most satisfying experience for Kameron as an attorney is when he can get a good outcome for a client, whether it’s obtaining a registered trademark, issued patent, or settlement. If the client is happy, that’s what matters to Kameron. When not being a Super Lawyer, Kameron likes to golf and tap dance.
