Meet Alicia.
Aside from being selected by her peers as a 2020 Rising Star for her work as an attorney, Alicia prides herself on being a solid cake maker as well as a pretty amazing mom. (The evidence being that her son has turned out so awesome!)
In 2005, Alicia began working for some of the current members of Business Law Southwest and Law 4 Small Business as a file clerk. As her job progressed, she started taking on bigger tasks and responsibilities and, in doing so, became more interested in both the law and the legal profession. In 2010, with the encouragement of her bosses, she started law school at UNM. After all these years, she still works for the firm, but now as an attorney.
Alicia enjoys practicing both civil litigation and criminal defense. In both of these practice areas, Alicia says the most satisfying part of her job is helping people. “I enjoy having the opportunity and the ability to help our clients when they find themselves in a situation where they need to either enforce or defend their legal rights.”
