Law 4 Small Business is excited to be part of “The Art of Healing” presented by Gallery with a Cause and the New Mexico Cancer Center Foundation; curated by Regina Held. This is a great opportunity to help your community and find great gifts for the holidays.
What is The Art of Healing?
The “Art of Healing” showcases meditative and uplifting works mainly by artists whose lives have been impacted by cancer. The gallery will also be featuring a special selection of pieces by the local calligraphy society, Escribiente, and whose members will create custom bookmarks and ornaments during the opening reception.

Take part and help those in need
The exhibition starts Friday, December 7, 2018 and will end February 15, 2019. On the opening night, Friday, December 7 the gallery will have a a First Friday Artscrawl from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. This will be an open event for anyone to come to the gallery and view and purchase artwork on site. There will be wine and horderves served, as well as Holiday Mariachis throughout the evening. At 8:00 pm an Award Ceremony will commence during the reception for the People’s Choice Award. This will allow everyone to vote for their favorite artist!
This exhibition, features a variety of genres and media by well-known and beloved artists living and working in New Mexico. Several of them have received the prestigious “Local Treasure” award from the Albuquerque Art Business Association for their contributions to the local art community. The artists being featured at “The Art of Healing” are Kevin Black, Dorothy Bunny Bowen , Jean-Paul De Jager, Addie Draper, Irene Garden, Suzanne Hellums, Carol Hopper, Fran Krukar, Linsay Locke, Zahra Marwan, Martin Matlack, Meredith McPherson, Katharine Noe, Kate Palmo, Nancy Silvia, Risa Taylor, Susan Weeks, Max Woltman, and Janet Yagoda Shagam.

The New Mexico Cancer Center Foundation is a non-profit organization solely dedicated to raising funds to alleviate non-medical needs for cancer patients. 40% of each art sale goes to the foundation and is tax-deductible.
To protect the privacy of patients, gallery hours are by appointment only.
Preferred times are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 9:00 am or after 4:00 pm.
